Karlyn Houcek

Karlyn Houcek found her way to Collierville Christian Church (CCC) by way of Rev. Morgan Parks, who heard her singing at Lindenwood Christian Church (LCC) one Sunday morning. He pulled Karlyn into the contemporary praise team at LCC to mentor and grow the skills and experience needed to lead worship and praise as he believed God had planned for her. After 5+ years at LCC, soon after Rev. Parks relocated to CCC, he reached out needing to enhance the contemporary worship team at CCC. Karlyn accepted the calling and began leading at CCC in 2017.

Besides worship leading in the Contemporary Service, Karlyn is also an instrumentalist and often plays trombone in the volunteer instumental group in the Traditional service.

In addition, Karlyn also manages our technology and communication for the church, as well as, spear-heads the Annual Summer Concert Series events at the Rev. Morgan Parks Memorial Amphitheater.
